World reknowned antislavery leader Kailash Satyarthi meets multicultural magazine SPEIL in Oslo, Norway
Oslo, 03.09.09. World reknowned antislavery leader Kailash Satyarthi says that child labour and slavery of children are the biggest stigma on the face of human kind. This is also a blot on our cultures, relegions and civilizations. Millions of children are bought and sold in lessor price than animals, they are trafficked and enslaved. A higher amount of political will, social efforts and resources have to be mobilised without any delay. He was talking to a group of delegates led by Suresh Chandra Shukla and others from a multicultural magazine SPEIL in Oslo, Norway.
Mr Kailash Satyarthi has shared his inspiring experiences of his work in the field of liberating child labour. Born and grew up in India, he is now leading the worldwide movement for education and protection of children as the president of Global Campaign for Education and the chairperson of Global March against Child Labour. Kailash Satyarthi has liberated over 78 thousand childeren from bonded labour and slavery in his country during last three decades after giving up a carrier of an electrical engineer.
He has reiterated the necessity for globalisation of human compassion in place of market and economies. Therefore the mutual understanding and respect among varius cultures relegions and idiologies is important in the present age of intolerance, growing terrorism and violence. The dedication for safegaurding the present and future of all children could be the most effctive way of globalising human compassion. He admired the efforts of Speil.
( Mr. Kailash Satyarthi has liberated 94 children from slavery on the august 19th 2009, this live story is available on YOU TUBE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oBrUH22Q7-A)
